Joshua Christian Academy is
operated as a ministry of the
Joshua Baptist Church, pastored by
Dr. Gene Wolfenbarger, Founder and Dean
of the School.  Founded in 1995 with
12 students and a staff of 5, we presently
serve Pre-K3 through 12th grade. 


JCA is a member of the Southern Association of Colleges and
Schools and is currently seeking accreditation. We are located on a beautiful 6-acre property at Country Club Drive and Highway 174 in Joshua.  The modern classrooms are all air-conditioned and carpeted.  Chapel services and special programs are held in the chapel auditorium.  Athletic facilities include a gymnasium and a weight room with additional room for a baseball/softball field and a football practice field.
We have a full staff covering every academic need.  Starting with the basic, core classes, we have enhanced facilities for academic needs as well as sports and electives.  The teachers at JCA are qualified not only because of their training, but also because of their own personal standards and their proper relationship to the Lord.  Our teachers are dedicated to the ministry of teaching and have the child's best interest at heart.
Over 90% of our graduates have attended the college of their choice after graduation.  Some of the colleges attended include:  West Coast Baptist College, Pensacola Christian College, Champion Baptist College, Arlington Baptist College, Art Institute of Dallas, Culinary School of Dallas, Dallas Baptist University, Howard Payne University, East Texas State University, Champion Bible College, Texas A&M, Tarrant County College, Texas Christian University, Trinity Bible College, and Hardin Simmons University.
